| The energy and volume of the crowd intoxicated Gerard, filling his every sense, exciting him and enlivening him. The moments just before the band went on stage were probably some of his favorite moments. Butterflies flew madly around in his stomach, he was nearly shaking with anticipation and over-excitement. He could hear the crowd murmuring and buzzing, almost louder than the buzzing inside his head. People milled around him and the rest of the band were preparing their instruments, walking out on stage to the even louder roar of the crowd.
Grinning to himself, he bounced up and down on his feet and walked out on stage. Gerard was in his element, nothing could bring him down. Microphone in hand, he grinned at the crowd and shouted, "What the fuck is up Italy?!" He scanned the crowd and smirked at the faces beaming up at him. He felt like something was going to happen tonight. He didn't think it was going to be good, but he was preparing himself for injuries or whatever was coming his way. He just had a gut feeling that something bad would happen. That gut feeling he always got when he was sure of something. There was a heavy presence settling over the arena, quite suddenly, as if someone had entered the arena, brought a thick blanket and had thrown it over his head. It muffled the roar of the crowd and threw his sense of balance off, causing him to swerve and stumble slightly. He shook it off, thinking it was just the overwhelming sensation of the crowd. Mikey threw him a look from across the stage and Gerard simply grinned back and shook his head.
Bob counted off on his drumsticks, signaling the start of the first song. The heaviness still hadn't lifted, and it was pressing down on his chest. Gerard threw himself headfirst into the song, pouring his heart and soul out as he did every night.

| Calling out into the sea of faces, Alice frowned. Finding her cousin with whom she had come to the concert with was becoming quite the chore. And Alice had come only for her, but now she stood in a massive sea of people, unsure of the what to do. Of course though her first impulse was to begin letting out a stream of obscenities in Italian before finally just giving up. Sophia was a grown woman and could care for herself she supposed, so Alice would just enjoy the concert she didn't have to pay for. Though the night had already felt rather odd for her but maybe it was just the fact that she was surrounded by thousands of teenage girls and waiting for a band she had never heard of. But the crowd was eager pushing her forward and shouting numerous names, all of which Alice made the guess were in the band. And she felt sorry for whoever was Gerard because, shit, quite a few people wanted to marry him.
Leaning against the barricade she finally spotted a blonde head of hair bopping on the right outer side admiring the equipment being laid out. Apparently, Sophia had a favorite and would be lingering over there. Sipping from her water bottle Alice hummed, until finally the lights on the crowd were shut off and after a few moments the stage lit up brightly along with a loud booming voice calling out to most of the teenage population of Italy. The crowd roared in response, jumping and pushing in closer till Alice had the barricade in her rib cage. Groaning uncomfortably she shifted and gripped the barricade, but as she looked up she couldn't notice something was a little, off, the singer looked as if out of nowhere he got winded. He stumbled and then seemed okay. But something was holding him back, a weight of some sort. But he seemed to brush it off as if it was no big deal. And threw himself into the first song, the crowd coming alive in one massive burst.
But as the song drug on the pain in her ribs grew and none the less her fascination with the sudden change in the singer grew. She found her lips mouthing words and her heart pounding in her chest, adrenaline flowing through her body. And it was just an amazing feeling, it was as if she had suddenly come alive.

| A few songs in and the heaviness on Gerard's chest just seemed to be getting heavier. He was having trouble breathing, feeling as if something were trying to invade his body, as if another presence or entity were forcing its way in, however absurd that sounded in his mind. That seemed to be the only way he could explain it. Still, though, he threw himself the best he could into every song, planning on giving the fans the show they had paid to see. He couldn't let them down because he was feeling a bit off. Not sick, even, just...off. Strange. Bad.
Frank made his way over to Gerard and leaned against him towards the end of the second song. "You okay, man? You look...I dunno." he asked. Gerard nodded silently. Why wouldn't he be okay? He was perfectly fucking fine. Did he not look fine? Gerard felt a slight rush of inexplicable anger towards Frank for even daring to ask such a question. As the anger surged, the weight lifted. Incredible, he thought. He could stand up straighter, he felt exuberantly happy. No weight, he felt free. Sort of an out of body experience, but nonetheless. He smirked at Frank viciously. That surge of anger had made him feel so much better...what if--
But the music for the next song had already started, and Gerard was fired up. He began to sing. He felt...angry. Livid, even. He could feel rage rushing through his blood. At what? At whom? Everyone and everything. Frank, for daring to touch him, to ask him if he was okay. At Mikey, for throwing him that wary glance. At the crowd itself, for being so loud, raucous and happy. He wanted to hurt something, he was seeing through a red haze. And for what? No reason. Because he could.
Gerard felt quite unlike himself. He wasn't angry all the time, and was never angry like this, especially for no reason. He paused for a moment. That presence and heaviness, it seemed, was now exuding itself from his very being. What had pressed down on him moments before was now bursting out through his chest, his voice, his entire body. He felt light, very different, powerful, and, always, angry.
He scanned the crowd slowly as he sang, making eye contact with a few individuals. He paused a moment longer on one particularly pretty girl, whose very appearance calmed him slightly. Something forced him to look away quickly, and the anger returned in full force.

| Through out the concert a cloud of aggression seemed to loom, being fed by the singer's rash movements. His glares to his band mates and sneers, sending murmurs and chills through the crowd. But it only seemed to excite them even further. Their bodies pushing forward and against each other, shouts, and elbows meeting sides. They were becoming more violent and as Alice saw it, she was getting crushed against the barrier her chest and sides becoming even more sore as the songs zoomed by. But she tried to focus on the show rather than the pain. Her eyes darting and following the singer as he angrily rushed about the stage, thrashing, and shouting at the crowd in between.
Though his band members, they seemed utterly confused by such a thing. And as Alice took a glance to the side at Sophia, the blonde had the same look on her face. Apparently such things weren't in his nature, the anger possibly? Or exhibiting it on stage? For some odd reason, Alice found herself curious. But that was no surprise, she had always been a curious child and always found trouble, or trouble found her. And even at those times where her conscience begged for her to listen, she showed lack of interest and leaped for the thrill. As she continued thinking to herself, she felt eyes upon her and she brought herself back to Earth. Back to the roaring crowd and found herself meeting gaze with him, locking for a moment in which she swore she could see him relax. For him to just turn away almost unwillingly and continue his rampage. At that moment the wave swept over again, causing more shoves and shouts.
One more shove was all Alice could take before she let out a shout of pain and called out to a security guard or whoever else would listen as she tried to scramble over the barricade. "Shit! Can I get out of here?! My sides are dying." Till finally a guard seemed to hear her cursing and her arms reaching out desperately for anything, he lifted her from the crowd and allowed her to sit on the ground a few inches from the barrier. A few inches due to her sudden fear of the savage fans that were clawing at the air. Curling up she gripped her sides, breathing heavily as if trying to get her ribs back into function. While still trying to pay some attention to the final song of the night, as it boomed thrown her ears and thudded through her heart.
Finally, the last drumbeat was played and the crowd seemed to come to an ease almost, the lights dimming to seal the night. Clumsily trying to clamber to her feet Alice winced in pain lifting up her shirt to look at her side, just to wince again. A large brown and purple bruise was spreading under her breasts, leaving a rather ugly mark and her knee was scraped and swollen into oblivion. Finally the auditorium began to empty and Alice felt capable to exit with her cousin who was probably already outside. But the nagging feeling of something still being awry remained and instead of heading left like intended, she headed right clambering on the stage looking around for maybe some cause of anger.

| Gerard's band mates were worried. Well, not worried exactly, mostly confused. As soon as Gerard had walked off stage, he began muttering to himself and pacing, snapping at those who approached him. He seemed restless, as if his mind were racing. His friends were not incorrect; in fact, Gerard seemed to be fighting an internal battle. He felt as if there was, quite literally, something inside him, that his very soul was rejecting. It was, Gerard was sure, the source of the anger attempting to overcome him. But what the fuck was it? He paced back and forth, running his fingers through his hair frantically. Something felt wrong inside him, and he had no idea why or what. He felt as if he had to scream or break something, the rage was still flowing strong through his veins.
"Hey, uh...Gerard, are you sure you're okay? You seem tense or stressed or something. What's wrong? Frank asked cautiously, placing his hand on Gerard's shoulder.
Gerard wheeled around and growled, sounding rather animal-like and inhuman. "You're what's wrong with me, leave me the fuck alone! All of you!" Frank looked taken aback for a moment, retracting his hand from him and stepping away from him. He then simply shook his head in disbelief and walked away, drawing Ray, Bob, and Mikey far away from Gerard as well.
Gerard paused in his pacing momentarily, tipping his head to the side. He heard whispering. Was that in his head or someone near him? He glanced around quickly; no one was in the vicinity. He hummed to himself and sat down in a nearby chair, beginning to run through the concert in his mind and trying to determine when and why he had become so angry. In his mind's eye he saw the face of a girl with brown hair, white on the sides, a pretty, kind face. His mind calmed immensely and the whispering ceased.
Then, as he trained his mind's eye in on her, a burning sensation spread through his body, as if something were protesting to his mind's action. Suddenly he felt the burning intensify tenfold, causing him to cry out, arch his back, and grip the chair. The pain was almost unbearable, something seemed to be forcing its way into his heart. It overtook his mind with heat, anger, bitterness, hatred; he could hear it and feel it laughing at him, at his pain. And it was over, as sudden as it had begun. But Gerard hardly felt like himself anymore; that so-called 'entity' he had been fighting off the entire night had melded itself into him. The rage had increased, and was now accompanied with haughtiness, a sense of pride that was quite unlike his normal arrogance. It was an odd, extremely painful, uncomfortable sensation; it was as if he was looking at the world through someone else's eyes, and that person was seeing a glittering, angry, red world.
He heard a gasp and he stilled instantly, his head whipping toward the source of the sound. There, he saw the girl.

| Sliding her fingers down the cold metal of the microphone stand, Alice stood with a perplexed look across her face. That look she tended to give very often to her brothers, where she furrowed her brow and her blue eyes narrowed slightly. A look that many feared and thought funny, depending on the moment. Beyond her belief in her head, the stand didn't tingle her skin or change her mood. Nor did it buzz her brain or send feelings of anger through her. It was just a plain black microphone stand, nothing special. Somewhat disappointed in her finding she jabbed the toe of her leather boots against the cold grey floor, digging it in. As if expecting the answer to sprout from the ground, but of course nothing appeared. Fumbling with the hem of her sweater she sighed, letting her eyes wander. Why was she even bothering? Weird things happened in Italy all the time, religious bats came to find god in Rome. Artists came to find themselves and American Students came to see the world before joining the industrial world. And within all those visitors there was always something strange sprouting from them. So maybe this band was just another exception to the thought mythology of Italy. That everything was just, weird.
Walking off the stage and behind the amplifiers she roamed, sliding her hand against the black walls. Unsure as to where she was taking herself, but she figured her body would take her wherever her mind wanted to be. Finally she began to here voices murmuring in fast harsh whispers, causing her to stiffen. Till finally a raised voice hushed the whispers, angry, unsurprisingly enough. Causing Alice to raise her eyebrows. The heavy feeling began to flush over again and suddenly it felt as if someone was looking for her. Watching her or possibly thinking of her, this shadow that was sliding up her spine and sending shivers all over her body. It was an ugly feeling though, something that twisted her gut and hazed her mind. There was something much more to this anger, Alice could feel it all the way down to her bones and it ached them. And with her curiosity being teased she just couldn't help it.
With a creak of the door Alice practically leaped out of her leather jeans, which by the way would have been quite the feat seeing as how they clung to her skin. She darted to the left and ducked behind an amplifier. Her bright blue eyes peeking over and watching the band members, all but their angry singer who they muttered about as they continued down the back area. Their voices filled with worry and faces twisted in a sad way. As she straightened herself and dusted herself off, her eyes darting around in the most nervous manner possible. Why? Because that dark shadow or cloud or whatever the hell it was seemed to be entangling itself around her tightly. Filling her bruised chest and almost making her feel like she was suffocating.
Her near suffocation though was interrupted by a loud cry erupting from the room that the band members had slipped out of. Alice darted to the door and wedged through, her eyes widening at the sight. The singer seemed to be almost trying to break out of his skin, sweating and arching out his back as if something was trying to explode from his skin. She gasped loudly and quickly regretting it, clamping her hands over her mouth in fear. "O-Oh..I-I...I shouldn't be here." Fumbling over her words she fidgeted with her sleeves and stood in panic. "I just heard you scream...and I-I...got worried...I thought someone was hurt." Alice mentally smacked herself outside the head, here she was being a complete and utter idiot. Looking at this singer, that she really knew nothing about and he probably though she was some rabid fan. Rubbing her temples she looked around and sighed heavily, sounding absolutely exhausted. "I should...probably...just get out of here and out of your way." She said in a nervous manner, her eyes avoiding locking with his in fear of his anger or the shadow that lingered around him.

| There was that girl again. Gerard stared at her, perplexed and calmed and angrier than ever and compelled to look away at the same time. The burning swelled up in the pit of his stomach, and he could almost physically feel his face being forced away.
"What are you doing here? Get out. You shouldn't be here," he said, harshly and unwillingly. He wanted her to stay, what was he doing sending her out? He was drawn to her, there was no doubting that. But this other, stronger, angrier force inside him didn't seem to like her very much. He liked that the other force didn't like her, which drew him to her even further. He shoved the burning sensation to the back of his mind and made himself look at her, taking in every detail: He stared into her eyes first, lingering there, the effect upon his mind and body immediate. The crystal blue seemed to consume him, he was transfixed and gazed at her intensely. He could feel the anger trying to seep through his gaze, but he forced it back and clung to the calm her eyes brought him. They were like cool water on the burning in his body, and he could feel his body physically relax.
The sound of her voice rambling away broke him out of his trance and the pain and anger, once again, returned. He shook his head slightly and closed his eyes, running his hand through his hair. "Why are you here?" he repeated. His eyes scanned over her slowly; it was taking in her appearance now, and he could hear it purring in appreciation. It sickened him and slightly aroused him at the same time, however much he disliked it. It was as if his body were betraying him; his mind worked partially how he wanted it to, yet thoughts that weren't his still crept in, and his body felt things he didn't want it to and moved in ways he didn't mean to. That odd, burning sensation was growing, and he could feel a darkness exuding from his core.
He stood up and moved towards her without meaning to, becoming almost uncomfortably close for two strangers to be. Not something he would normally do. "What's your name?" he demanded, rather than asked. It had apparently, for whatever reason, given up trying to keep Gerard away from this girl completely, but still would not allow him to look her in the eye for too long. The calming sensation emitted from her; Gerard liked being close to her very much, but it stirred the entity inside him. It did not like the calming effect, he could tell, but was not trying to stay away from the girl. He hoped it was not planning anything. He debated on just leaving, never having to see this girl again, if only to keep her safe from harm. Something in his own mind (he could tell the difference, by now, between his mind and its mind) made him stay.

| Holding back the urge to wince at the sound of his voice, Alice stood her ground and chewed on her bottom lip until the skin broke cringing at the taste of her own blood. A nervous habit she had as a child, it was common for her to break the skin but never so quickly. The twist in her gut though was killing her as she stood in the same room as him. The feeling of his eyes locking on her caused her to shift uncomfortably but for some odd reason, no matter how awkward or sick she felt. Alice couldn't run out or turn away, she instead locked eyes with him feeling the dark atmosphere suddenly drop. His breathing seemed to calm and as she studied his eyes she couldn't help but be puzzled. They were a honey amber color, that seemed so kind, so sweet. But yet, he was so angry and if Alice didn't know any better he didn't know why he was so angry either. When finally realizing an silence was growing between them, she licked her lips and opened her mouth again, just as he snapped his head away. "My cousin brought me to the show and I got hurt so they pulled me over the barricade. After the show things still felt weird...so I started looking around." She answered, rubbing her arm.
Suddenly the anger washed in again and Alice shuddered wrapping her arms around herself subconsciously as if to try to protect herself from something. Then she felt his eyes again, but this time they weren't looking at her face. It was almost as if he was assessing her body causing her to stiffen as whatever was attached to him wrapped itself around her, making it feel like she was trying to breathe underwater. His second question puzzled her and she bit her lip, cringing as she bit down on the already wounded area. Obviously, now he wanted to know her intentions. What was she supposed to say? 'Oh you don't know me and I have absolutely no idea who you are. But you seem to have this presence that is pretty fucking scary.' Yeah, that would definitely get through to him. "Things just feel off, This is gonna sound crazy. But whatever it is, feels like it's coming from you and you seem pretty angry at the world." Alice said carefully, trying to avoid upsetting him.
Her sudden invasion of her personal space though caused her to trail off the sentence, looking up at him she stepped back clumsily with big eyes. "Alice, my name is Alice. What's yours?" Alice probably sounded pretty stupid, seeing as since it was his concert she should know his name. But Alice was pretty much trapped in the 90's with her music choices. The presence though was overwhelming up close. He had a good six inches on her and now had this looming shadow that made him even more intimidating. Now finally, she was beginning to listen to her conscience and it was telling her to get the hell out of there.
Stepping back again she glanced around, before looking him dead in the eyes again. "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have bothered you...I should go..."

| Alice was the girl's name. "Alice..." he growled softly. The name rolled off his tongue and he could feel a purring in his chest. It wanted her; Gerard wanted to keep her safe. Although he had just met her, quite literally, moments ago, he didn't want her to get hurt by whatever had invaded his body. He knew it was capable of hurting others, whether that be using him physically or using his words. He stared down at her, feeling the entity stir and prowl within him. "Well, I'm fine, I assure you. You could get in trouble back here," he purred. He had meant for it to be a warning, but it came out rather more alluring than he had intended. It was trying to entice her. He didn't want it to. Why was it doing this, though? Was it because she seemed to sense the beast within, or just because she was there?
Gerard was possessed; he had come to know this and, somehow, accept it. He had never been very religious, despite his Catholic upbringings. But he somehow knew that what was happening to him was indeed a possession. However, he was clueless as to why it had chosen him. Or why it had 'chosen' Alice to rein in. He forced himself to step back from her, taking in a deep breath and calming himself. The further away from her he was, the more the burning grew within him, but he knew he had to step away. She was uncomfortable. He opened his mouth to tell her that she should go, but instead, he said, "Why don't you stay here and talk for a bit with me?" His own words shocked him, but he kept his face impassive so as not to make the girl think he was insane. He probably was.
He reached forward and wrapped his slender fingers around her wrist, pulling her forward gently, towards two chairs pushed up against the wall side by side. 'What am I doing??' he thought to himself. This was not at all what he had intended to do! It was moving him, forcing words that weren't his out of his mouth, and he felt odd and completely helpless within his own body. He gave her what he hoped was a pleading, warning look, but probably came across as a seductive, angry glare. He was frightened by what was happening, however minuscule and insignificant it seemed to an outsider. His actions weren't his, and he could feel the absolute hatred and evil dominating his heart. The absolute wickedness. As he led her to sit down, he tried to fight against it in his own mind. This was, he could tell immediately, a mistake.
Flashes of awful things flew through his mind; things he had done, things he was ashamed of, things he hadn't done (yet the growling voice told him) but was ashamed of anyway. Blood, yelling, violence, shouting. The burning sensation grew into a blazing fire in his mind. He paused momentarily, trying to shake the images from his mind. Sighing, he sat down in the chair and simply allowed things to take their course. Whatever happened would happen, he supposed, and he surely did not want those images flashing through his mind again. If something further happened, he would try to stop it, but for now...he would allow it.
"So where's your cousin?"

| The sound of her name rolling off his tongue, sent a shiver down her spine and a soft sigh escaping her lips. Fire seemed to somewhat ignited in her and the shadow continued curling around her, trapping her in. Her limbs became encased and the room became warm, as if she was being smothered. Her lungs fighting for fresh air, for the suffocation to end. But he was pulling her in, ever word slipping out of his mouth baiting her in. Like a fly slowly inching into a Spider's web, she was slowly being woven in, the shadow becoming the thread encasing her and somewhat scared of what came next. Then the question popped up, why did she stay? Hell, Alice had no idea, it was a mystery to her in fact her mind and body was fighting to run away. But the heat and shadow, cemented her feet to the ground making her frustrated and hazy. Sucking in a deep breath, she shut her eyes and formed her mouth into a thin line, thinking quietly to herself pushing the fog away. It somewhat worked; but none the less the feeling still lingered because she was still with him.
Listening to his words, Alice's mouth twisted and she pursed her lips. He was lying, he had to be. They way he purred it to her, while his eyes told another story. It was as if he was drowning in his own body, pleading for something, anything, to end what was happening. As he inched away Alice sucked in a breath and exhaled, the weight on her lungs decreasing and the dizzy feeling fading. Though the nagging in the back of her mind? There was no cure for that. His fingers touching her skin ignited her like a match, fire shot through her skin making her flare up. A growl shot through her ears and she felt dizzy for a split second, causing her to stagger as he led her to the chairs her feet dragging for a bit. She felt as if she was on fire, not in a painful way, but in an over powering warmth kind of way. Slightly falling back into the chair she sighed in relief as cold air washed over her as their hands separated, tipping her head back for a mere second she inhaled and looked up. Perplexed by his expression which was borderline seductive and by the contrast of his eyes that screamed for her to get out of here.
Picking at her jeans listening to her nails scratch at the leather, Alice snapped to attention at the sound of Sophia's name. She hopped her cousin wasn't too worried, or had at least gone and entertained herself. The blonde was a great girl, but Alice worried about her sometimes. Milano, as lovely as Alice found it due to her constant visits the city could be a little tricky. And Sophia wasn't exactly the most reliable person when it came to finding her way in big places, her American cousin, completely clueless in Italy. Worry flipped her gut, but none the less Alice stayed in place digging in her side bag for her phone, no texts, no worries. "I..uh...Don't know." Alice ran her fingers through her hair and rubbed the back of her neck. "She's American so she doesn't know Italy like I do.." Why was she even telling him that? He didn't need to know and why did he even want to talk with her? All these questions, but not a single answer.
Glancing around, Alice realized something and she turned slightly in her chair so she could face him. Their knees brushing at the motion, sending a quick heat flash through her. "You didn't tell me your name."

| Reeling in girls at concerts had never been one of Gerard's favorite pastimes. Really, it had never been something he felt comfortable doing in general. Yet here he was, attempting to entice this girl, who had a calming affect on him. However, the calmer he became around her, the more uncomfortable she seemed to get. She had asked his name, he realized a few seconds after the words left her mouth. 'Belial...' whispered the voice in his mind. So, that was the name of the demon? He would have to look it up later. But he stopped himself from saying the name, and forced out, "Gerard," instead. The thought briefly crossed his mind, why didn't she know his name beforehand? She was at the concert, wasn't she? But he dismissed the thought; he sounded haughty and much too arrogant to assume that everyone knew his name. She was probably just there for her cousin, anyway.
The way Alice looked at him made him feel as if she was studying him, perhaps reading his emotions and thoughts perfectly. Good. Maybe she could help him. But how ridiculous that would sound; 'So I think I'm possessed, and you just being around helps me a lot, can you stay with me?' He heard Belial laugh darkly as the thought crossed his mind. He hummed softly and cleared his throat, leaned forward and rested his hand on her knee, which sent an odd shockwave of burning and tranquility through his body. 'Just think what it would be like if her mouth were around you,' Belial cackled. He felt his entire body flush in embarrassment at the thought, and he lowered his eyes to the ground.
"Well, how about I help you find your cousin?" he heard himself say. 'Say no!' he screamed in his mind. He knew if she came with him, she would, in a way, be surrendering herself. At least, that's how the demon thought of it. The demon would know that he had her under control, seeing her obvious discomfort in his presence, but her willingness to comply, regardless. He retracted his hand from her and regretted it, forcing himself not to wince at the fire he could feel burning behind his eyes. He scanned his eyes over her face slowly, taking in her appearance once more. She had a little blood on her bottom lip from chewing on it nervously, earlier, and he imagined himself biting her bottom lip and sucking on it, kissing her fiercely and licking her lip clean of blood. The sight of this in his mind's eye caused him to sigh softly and shift uncomfortably in his seat. He would never normally think of something like this, especially so soon after meeting someone. He had always respected women and tried to never objectify them; this, obviously, did not mean he had never had lustful thoughts about someone he found attractive, but they were usually about celebrities or someone he had maybe known for a longer period of time. This was just odd for him.
"And, also, if you wanted to, can you show me around Italy? I've been here a few times, but I've never explored...and I really want to," he said almost innocently. However true this statement was, he knew only bad things would result from this excursion. 'Or maybe,' he thought, 'she can bring me to the Vatican and have me exercised.'

| Catching his name through her daydream state, Alice smiled slightly and nodded. "Mmm, like the Saint." She chuckled and shook her head. "Sorry, I studied some of that stuff when I spent time in Rome. It's nice to meet you Gerard." Leaning back in her seat, she prayed she didn't sound as stupid as she thought she did. He probably in his head was thinking about how dumb it was that she was even there in front of him. Fiddling with the strap of her side bag, she extended her hand and took his shaking slightly, trying to not gasp at the overwhelming fire that blazed over her as she did so and tried not to sigh in relief as their hands disconnected. Scolding herself she bit her bottom lip again, 'Shit, I should have learned by now.' she thought to herself. But she couldn't help but want to touch him, noticing the relaxation that came whenever he touched her, she wanted to just lace their fingers together and hold on. In hopes of giving him some sort of solution to the pain, fear though held her back.
The offer of help sent a wash of relief over Alice's bones, making her heart slow slightly. She had been so terrified of something bad happening to Sophia or herself as she was back here. The idea of getting some help locating her possibly lost cousin, was comforting. She nodded in response and smiled, "Thanks, that would be great." Alice hummed happily and then there it was again, that wave of heat flushing over her and that shadow wrapping itself around her. Her head seemed to fill up and a growl rang through her ears causing her to widen her eyes, sucking in a sharp breath. The room seemed to spin and she gripped his hand for some closure, an even bigger mistake because it got worse as she did so. But she sucked in a breathe and shut her eyes again, trying to push it away, until finally it became bearable. "I just don't know where I would start looking for her, she probably would get distracted by some guy or a store." Alice babbled for a second before laughing nervously as he removed his hand. "S-Sorry...When I worry I tend to talk about pointless things." Rubs the back of her neck and stands up, brushing off her sweater and jeans.
At his next question, Alice found herself questioning her morals. Because the next thing that came out of her mouth was "Of course." She didn't know why, because every part of her minus her heart was battling and screaming for her to say 'No' or that she had other plans. Her heart though, that fiendish organ, saw the pleading, terrified, look in his eyes. That begged for help, and she knew she just had to. All a while though her brain begged for her to listen as it took note of his eyes and the way they looked over her. A hungry twinkle in them, as if he wanted to eat her...or maybe something else. As always she found herself shifting under his gaze uncomfortably and averting her eyes elsewhere. "Where do you want to go in Italy?" Now she had begun heading towards the door expecting him to follow, and as soon as she heard his footsteps behind a sigh of relief escaped from her. Suddenly, she was starting to feel not as trapped in now that there was a sign of being safe in the near future. But Alice could never be so sure.

| Gerard was becoming accustomed to the constant burning in his body. It was exceedingly uncomfortable, but he was trying to ignore it. When Alice's hand touched his, he hummed appreciatively at the slight relief. Dumbfounded as he was at the connection, he still appreciated it and accepted it. He wanted to simply hold her hand to find some relief from the incessant burning; he felt as if his skin were on fire, all over. He could feel it inside him, burning to his very core. As each moment passed, he felt the demon melding itself into him further, pushing Gerard away from himself. He was fighting against it, determined to stay within himself. Alice seemed to be a glimmer of hope to him; she had studied this type of thing before? Perfect. She could maybe tell him what the fuck was going on.
The twinge of fear spread through his body and mixed in with the burning when Alice accepted his offer of help. He heard a growl and saw Alice suck in a breath. She gripped his hand and the cool, calming feeling that washed over him was becoming familiar and quite welcome. "Well, we can go wherever you think she would go, I've definitely got time. It's not like my band will leave without me, I'm the most important person in the damn band," he laughed. Normally, this would have come out jokingly; tonight, however, it almost sounded as if he were serious. That wasn't him, he knew.
He sighed at her answer, feeling the growl and purr of pleasure within his chest again. This thing was really trying to reel her in. He stood up and followed her blindly. Where did he want to go? The Vatican, he very nearly said, but the demon roared at him in his head. He felt it grip his throat and he choked slightly, then attempted to play it off as a cough. Apparently, that would be the right place to go, seeing as it was so set against it. He almost tried to say it again, but no sooner had the thought entered his mind than he felt his throat tightening. He hummed and breathed in deeply. "Well, the obvious tourist sites would be good...but maybe, then, we could go see...some of your favorite places?" He grinned a blindingly bright smile at her that wasn't his, and hoped it didn't work.
He was now sure, somehow, that Alice was the one to help him. How to do that when each time he tried to say something significant, the demon tried to burn his insides and strangle him, was a bit difficult to manage. But he was sure he would figure it out somehow. Maybe he would use the strange sort of connection they had. He walked beside her and tried to, rather dumbly, convey his plight to her telepathically. Why he thought that would work was beyond him, and he heard the demon laugh at his ridiculous thoughts. 'Fuck you,' he thought, sneering slightly. The word 'fuck' had Belial laughing once more, as images of Alice beneath Gerard flashed through his mind; Alice on her knees in front of him; Alice above him. He flushed over and widened his eyes slightly, staring deliberately at the ground and biting his lip to hide the soft, involuntary moan that escaped his lips anyway.
He groaned internally at his stupidity; she was sure to think him a pervert now, and an absolute freak for moaning for no reason; hopefully she hadn't heard it. He almost prayed, then realized how fucking ironic that was. He almost laughed, and so did the demon. "So...so where to first?"

| Chuckling slightly at the response to her answer, she couldn't help but be slightly irked by the small amount of ego that was seeping from his statement. "True, can't really replace a singer." She answered half heartedly, Alice never had quite been one to feed people's egos. And celebrity or not, Gerard was no exception. Though still no matter how negatively he acted, she was still drawn in by his unique behavior. The look in his eyes and the burning, not to mention his gasps and cringes. It was all just one big mystery to her, along with his silent pleas that she saw here and there. But what was he so desperate to escape, there seemed to be no danger, rather than himself.
As she continued down the winding backstage hallway she looked back at him curiously as she heard a strangled cough emit from him. Her brow perked and her eyes flashed with concern, as she attempted to walk backwards without falling over some cord or equipment. A feat that would be award-winning in Alice's book due to her constant clumsy feet. Running over the tourists sights in her head as he mentioned it she skimmed over it through her mind, Rome obviously. That city was a tourist's dream, the Sistine Chapel, The Coliseum, St. Peter's, and of course the Vatican and it's museum's. Then there was Venice, her home with it's beautiful art, waterways, and architecture. That, was her favorite place in Italy and sometimes she planned on never leaving it. After all, who needed the rest of the world when you lived in heaven practically. Well, at least it was heaven for Alice. "Alright then, Rome would be a sure fire place to go then. I can take you to Venice and from there...." She trailed off, half muttering to herself how crazy she was to do this. Especially after the smile he had handed her. It seemed so fake, so plastic, but Alice wasn't one to judge. "All of my favorite places are in Venice, since that's where I'm from, but Milano is so nice too. Have you checked around here?
Hearing a moan escape his lips Alice turned her head back, in concern. She wasn't to positive on whether it was a weird one of pleasure or if he was in pain again, but if it was pain, she obviously didn't want that to continue. So Alice extended her hand to him and gripped tightly, pulling him forward. The fire that came with touching him was slightly dim and more tame to Alice, or it could have been she learned how to push it to the back of her mind. Either way though a sensation crawled up her skin this time, making her shudder as she pushed open the back exit. Whatever was wrong with Gerard was becoming to difficult to explain with words, his conversation always seemed short as if something was trying to stop him over and over again from saying too much. Or if he did say a little more than usual a sharp exhale followed, it was as if he was walking on eggshells. Humming thoughtfully at his question she slipped through the door and turned left on the alley. "There's a coffee shop that she absolutely loves, about five minutes away from here."

| The desire to throw himself into the Vatican was increasing, however crazy it may have seemed to Gerard at the time. He wanted to demand to be taken to the Vatican at once, because he knew he was absolutely out of his mind, but he also knew there was something amiss inside his body and mind. He just knew. Among other things, he also knew that Alice was the one to help him. Why else would he have felt such a connection with her touch, with her very presence, it seemed? Her cringing and confused, painful looks told him that she was aware, perhaps only vaguely, of what was going on. She could definitely feel something as well. However, it seemed as if, while Gerard was calmed by her touch, she was hurt by his. That was odd. He didn't like it one bit. But he simply could not refrain from being close to her; the burning was overwhelming by now, so much so that if he were in any normal state of mind, he would be screaming in agony. Things being as they were, however...
He was shaken out of his musings at her question, as well as her look of concern. He flushed slightly, in embarrassment this time, and gripped her hand. He sighed happily as the cooling overtook his body again. The demon growled in his head, obviously angered by her affect on Gerard. Did she have some affect on the demon as well? He surely hoped so. "Um...no, I haven't checked out anywhere. Do you think we can check out the V--" he tried to spit out quickly. He coughed suddenly as his throat tightened and the fire burned through his eyes, making them water, even with his hand still intertwined with Alice's. He shook the feeling off as he heard the words slip from his mouth: "Sorry about that. I was going to say, can we check out the Coliseum after we find your cousin? I've been wanting to see it." He held tight to her hand as they walked, desperate to hold on to her calmness, the pleasant, cool feeling she brought over his heart and mind. He didn't care if she found it odd; the tranquility and relief were worth it.
"Oh cool, a coffee shop. I wouldn't mind getting some coffee myself," he hummed. 'What shall we do next...' he heard Belial growl in his mind. 'How about we get her in your hotel room, have some fun, and then I'll have some fun in this realm,' Belial purred. Gerard almost let out a growl of his own. He would not allow it, no matter what. Alice would not be hurt, used, thrown aside, perhaps even killed, because she was being kind enough to help him. She had no idea what she was getting herself into, and Gerard felt that he was obligated to at least try to warn her. As they neared the coffee shop, he allowed himself to glance at his surroundings. He saw the Vatican in the distance and longed to step inside, even though he knew it would more than likely tear apart his insides to even get near the place.
Alice pulled him inside and he snatched a napkin from a table. Maybe if he could write it down quickly enough...probably not. But it was worth a shot. She seemed pretty observant and intelligent regardless, and she had said she studied this type of thing in the past. Maybe she would even figure it out on her own! 'That would be wonderful,' Gerard decided But what would she do when/if she figured it out? Run away? Drag him into an asylum? Or, even better, the Vatican? 'I could just drag her to the hotel room...' Belial cackled. And he was quite right, he certainly could, whether Gerard wanted him to or not. So, he had to be careful if he wanted Alice safe from...himself.

| Now, crazy wasn't exactly a word that Alice threw around all willy-nilly at people. But see, there was of course this issue with Gerard, whatever it was, and it was starting to get weirder and weirder by the second. And Alice was slowly trying to narrow it down, and was coming down to a list of five conclusions. One being that the singer was, in fact, just plain crazy and all the other ones. Had something to do with invading his body. Why? Well seeing as sometimes he seemed to try to do one thing, but his body did another and sometimes even turned on him. Alice's brain screamed crazy, but everything else screamed something was inside of him. You see, Alice wasn't a very religious girl, she found the stories interesting but never really invested her time into Church or none the less even looking to a god. But her brother, Vincent, on the other hand was rather into religion, in fact he was a bit involved with the Vatican. He'd bring home books and more books, and Alice would find herself rummaging through. Somewhat fascinated by it all, and sometimes she even studied it, surprising herself and her brother. The darker subjects though, always caught her eye. Stories of demons, possessions, seraphs, and fallen angels. Not to mention her wacky curiosity with Ouija boards, Alice definitely was the Vatican's worse nightmare in a sense. Enough of those thoughts though, the main point was. If Alice wasn't such a skeptic, she'd swear Gerard was possessed.
At the squeeze of his fingers around her hand, Alice squeezed back trying to act as some sort of security blanket or anchor to whatever was going on to him. Trying to send the calm of herself over and absorb the radiating heat, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Perking a brow to his sudden pause mid-sentence, she frowned as he began choking and coughing unable to finish, then suddenly switched over to another sentence. As if nothing had happened at all, patting his back slightly she tried to decipher what he really meant. There weren't many places in Europe that started with a 'V' other than the Vatican. That's when it hit her, finally, whatever was in Gerard didn't like the Vatican. And the only things that didn't like the Vatican and dwelled in people were Demons, Alice almost smacked herself outside the head but instead twitched her fingers to keep the action small. She wasn't allowed to give off hints, if she did whoever inside would know and then it would get really ugly. Gerard's health could be in danger if she angered it and none the less herself, Demons could do some really nasty things, or so she had read.
"Sure, there's enough cabs around here that we can probably head straight on over. I'd just need to give Sophia the keys to the house." The short ebony haired girl, shrugged continuing to lead him down the street and into the Cafe doing her best to ignore the fans that were from the concert whispering and pointing, not at Gerard, put her. Apparently, they were thinking they had some kind of relationship and Alice preferred that the faster she got him in the cafe the less others would assume. "Mmm, I love coffee. It's the best and this place, has the best food. Ever had Nutella before?" She hummed happily looking over the crowd and spotting Sophia with a tattooed fellow. "Ooop, and there she is." Pointing her finger towards her cousin, she waved sheepishly and then directed her attention back to the menu, pleasured by the all chocolate menu and the smell of coffee wafting from the back. After finally picking out the items and asking how Gerard liked his coffee, she ordered in quick Italian then headed to the side to wait for their food, dragging Gerard behind.
Almost as if by magic their food appeared rather quickly and Alice, unfortunately, had to release Gerard's hand in order to grab the tray to take it to their seat. But just before sitting down she scampered off to her cousin quickly exchanging the keys and explaining the situation, minus the demon possessed singer part of course, then sat beside Gerard again. Cutting into the chocolate pizza, Alice let out a nearly orgasmic moan then blushed releasing a small giggle. "Sorry! This stuff is just, SO good. You have to try." Grinning she picked up another piece and held the fork to his mouth, and then another thought crossed her mind. They weren't touching. With some quick thinking after he ate the food off the fork she grabbed his hand and rested it on her knee, then taking a sip of her coffee as if trying to play it off a bit. But now she had a much bigger task on hand, telling him that she knew, without setting an alarm off for whoever was inside of him. "So where are you going once you leave here?" Alice asked, really more for making small chat to try to lighten the looming cloud over them.

| Something had changed in Alice's facial expression, her reaction, her movement. Gerard couldn't tell exactly what it was, but he was hoping it was because she had finally figured something out. He was also hoping whatever she had 'figured out' would frighten her into running away as soon as possible. She seemed far too polite for that, unfortunately. Fans, who were probably loitering around the coffee shop because they had just been at the concert, ogled at them as they passed hand in hand. Gerard instinctively pulled her closer in case any rabid fans decided to pounce: It's not as if it hadn't happened before to those in the band. Crazier things had happened. Like birds attacking his head. Or the tour bus being knocked from side to side by overenthusiastic fans. Or being possessed by a demon. No big deal, just the norm for him. This all seemed so painfully typical, now that he was thinking of it. If demon possession were to happen to anyone, of course it would happen to Gerard. He was the obvious choice.
The word 'Nutella' shook him from his thoughts. He fucking loved Nutella. Nutella was the best. "Nutella is the best," he remarked, "I could almost fucking live off that shit." Looking around the shop now, he realized that this place had tons of Nutella. The combination of the smell of chocolate, coffee, and Alice's murmuring in Italian had his skin tingling and his senses on edge. He took in a deep breath and sat down with Alice. He calmed himself as she spoke to her cousin, even with the fire spreading through his body again. The fire, the sights, the sounds, and the smells all combined were overwhelming him; his head was spinning and he felt restless, however much he loved it in here. If it weren't for the burning and the sudden urge to keep moving, he would have been in heaven. He almost snorted in amusement at that thought. Heaven.
Alice let out a moan that Gerard felt somewhere in his lower regions. He felt his face flush a dark red as he averted his eyes. Belial chuckled at his awkwardness and flashed more images of Alice on her knees in front of him, moaning like she just had, saying his name, hands touching his thighs and his chest and his stomach, mouth around him. He blushed even darker at these images, squirmed in his seat and shifted in an attempt to hide his sudden erection. "Shit," he muttered. Not a good time. He cleared his throat and took a bite of the Nutella pizza from her fork. Shit, that was good. Alice placing her hand on his knee wasn't bad either; cool water had just been injected into his veins and calmed the inferno. What was bad, however, was the unfortunate predicament in his jeans. He knew he looked like the biggest creep ever.
He hummed and took a sip of his coffee. "After we leave Italy? France, I think, and then back to the States," he mused. "About a week left in Italy, I think." He subconsciously scooted his chair closer to her while observing his surroundings. He wondered where they would be going first, after they ate, and he relayed his thoughts to her. 'Vatican, Vatican, Vatican, please,' he beseeched her internally.
'I'll kill you first,' came a growling voice. Well, shit.

| Now, with most guys Alice probably would have had a little bit of a freak out over the slight predicament in Gerard’s jeans. Okay, well she was actually having a bit of a freak out but was kindly choosing to keep it strictly in her mind rather than making it verbal. Because well Alice had sort of reminded herself that it was very possible that Gerard couldn’t even control that seeing as he was a practical puppet on strings at the moment. So she did her best to shrug it off and instead crossed her ankles, straightened up a bit and hummed quietly her eyes darting to his face. That was in fact well, scarlet and Alice had to do her best not to giggle at the poor guy since she had never seen someone blush a shade of red that dark before. So instead she zoned back into the conversation they were having rather than on everything else going on at the moment. Though the eyes looking into the café and her cousin’s eyes locked onto her back it was a little hard. Perking up at the sound of Paris, Alice smiled. ”Paris? It’s beautiful there. But at least you have plenty of time here in Italy.” It was true, Paris was wonderful just as everyone expected and, well, it was one of Alice’s favorite places in Europe all together.
Noting him scooting close to her, Alice rummaged through her purse for a pen which took her pretty much five minutes. Since her purse seemed to be the new portal for Narnia. Guessing that he wanted more comfort from contact, she scooted his direction and leaned against him then turned her focus to the stack of napkins laying on the table. Hastily snatching one she hunched over it beginning to scribble. A roughly drawn small Gerard, with a black shadow leaking out from him, in quick scrawl ‘Current situation?’; she then slid the napkin over to him along with the pen. She couldn’t wait on him to magically be able to tell her anytime soon because she was pretty sure it wasn’t going to happen, so now Alice had to resort to doing something pretty risky. But risky is something she could do pretty well. Though she didn’t look it of course.
At five feet and three inches, Alice hardly stood a chance against many things. Tall trees, cereal boxes on the high shelves, really tall and really stupid Italian guys with the stupid grease in their hair, and so on. So risk taking, was hard enough at is but definitely do-able in her book. In fact, Alice wouldn't mind making a hobby out of it to be honest. Shaking out possible risky jobs from her mind Alice tried to focus herself again with the task at hand and continued writing down on another napkin quickly.
Look, obviously, you are not doing well. I’m not gonna lie to you but you’re kind of one big hot mess over here. And you’re obviously in a lot of pain as well. So we’re going to figure this out… Somehow, seeing as it’s not letting you do shit really. Also, you might want to run off to the bathroom before we leave.
Sliding over the second napkin she cleaned up their meal and headed to throw away the tray, giving him enough time to read; and allowing herself enough distance in case whatever little demon that was inside him decided he didn’t like her knowing. But either way it was for her own safety as well because whatever being it was liked her enough to allow her close, which was a good yet very bad thing seeing as it just made it ten times easier to swallow her in. Of course though, just like every other time she was in near danger, Alice threw caution to the wind.
Returning to the table after a detour to Sophia Alice sat down running through her mind where to go next, the Vatican was a little too soon. Obviously Gerard had thought about it and whatever was inside him had made it very clear that it was not happening. So instead she decided on places that could assist them in some way, plenty of religious shops. The idea though of a demon throwing a temper tantrum outside of one though, wasn’t a great image so it sent her back tracking again. And old book store near the Vatican that had some good reads could maybe help her, help him. Maybe then they could figure out what exactly they were up against, rather than punching blindly against the dark. “I was thinking after this, we could head to this little bookstore. I promised my brother I’d pick some stuff up. Plus it’s a pretty interesting little place.”

| She had noticed. If Gerard having an erection wasn't bad enough, Alice just simply had to notice it, despite his best efforts to hide it. But she was now leaning against him, which left only a nagging sensation in his mind, and a slight burning feeling, now mostly concentrated in his face and in his crotch. So, she couldn't have been too freaked out by him just yet. She would get there, Gerard was sure. And now, aside from the problem in his pants, there was an even bigger situation at hand; Alice knew. He felt a surge of fear for Alice, and rage that wasn't his, in his heart and stomach. How the fuck had she figured it out? Obviously she was someone to contend with, and quite obviously, she knew her stuff if she was open-minded and observant enough to ascertain that Gerard was, indeed, possessed. Belial hissed in his head, and he heard a low, inhuman hiss escape his lips simultaneously.
Gerard looked up at Alice with an unintentional deadly look in his eyes. Now that she knew, what would happen to her? To him? Rage was building, and he felt the air stir around him. The chance that there was someone to help him, just the fact that someone knew what was happening to him, sent a thrill of excitement and fear through him, while sending hatred and anger and a feeling of immense, building power through him at the same time. He knew which emotions were not his. He stood up abruptly and gripped her wrist tightly, without meaning to. He had no idea what he was doing, and he couldn't stop himself. Belial was angry with her. At least his hard-on was gone. "Bookstore, right. Come on," he said shortly, tugging her out the door of the cafe a little rougher than necessary.
The way Gerard saw it, he had a few options: 1. He could force himself to abandon Alice now and hopefully keep her safe; 2. Stay with her and let things take their course, maybe just hope that she could throw him into the Vatican and run; or, 3. Stay with Alice and try to help her out as much as he could. Maybe the demon would leave him be for a bit. He had heard of that in movies, how the possessed person was able to be him or herself for periods at a time. And considering that he still had some control over his body, he guessed there was still a chance of that happening. "So after this I was thinking maybe we could head back to my hotel room, just for a little bit. There's something I have to take care of there," he heard himself say. He willed her to say no and willed himself to come back into himself fully. The rage that had been continuing in his heart blackened and spread through him; he could feel it and see its aura surrounding himself, and trying to close in around Alice beside him.
As he glanced around and noticed few people around them, a surge swelled through him and he, Gerard, blacked out. Belial opened his eyes and grinned down at Alice in a malicious, charming fashion. Control was his, at least for the time being. And that was how Belial liked it. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, putting all the charm he had into convincing her to return to the hotel room with him. "So what do you say, sweetheart? Do me a favor?"

| The new air hanging between Alice and Gerard wasn't exactly something one would call comfortable or none the less friendly, in fact it was a bit frightening. It felt as if the darkness that had been crawling onto Gerard was forming around him, sinking into his skin. And Alice had every right to be terrified if this was in fact the truth since she didn't really know what she would be facing if such a thing was true After all Alice wasn't built for exorcisms or trying to escape from possessed guys who had a good five to six inches on her. No, she was more built for art and piano. But of course according to some genius in the past, people would have their moments of being a hero, thrusted upon them. Though Alice thought that automatic bullshit for if she had anything thrown at her when she wasn't prepared. She was pretty sure she would just mess up, but the current situation on hand was definitely something she couldn't fuck up with. Though letting Gerard know that she was aware of the situation could in fact qualify as a pretty big mess seeing as things seemed to be going down hill due to the situation. Shifting uncomfortably under the almost hateful glare of Gerard, she was stunned when she was grabbed rather roughly and tugged out of the cafe in mere seconds.
That action of course, set off a whole new set of alarms off in Alice's body. Her blood began to pump and her legs begging to run, but she held herself back. She couldn't just run away from him, not even if she was in a slight bit of danger. He could be seriously harmed by whatever was inside or harm someone else, and if anyone was to get hurt Alice would rather it be her. Because god forbid someone who didn't know what was going on got hurt, then there would really be some problems. Gerard could get arrested and the cops get involved and, oh god, it would just be one really big mess. Trying to pull her mind back before it got a little too ahead of itself, Alice tried to get Gerard's grip to loosen up. Twisting her wrist subtly and leaning in the directions of the bookstore as they continued down the cobblestone streets. At least he was allowing her to go there, though she could tell that she really wasn't dealing with Gerard too much. But rather whatever was inside him because violence, anger, and pissy attitudes didn't seem very typical for him. Even though Alice really had only known him for a bit. Plus there was the matter that her touch wasn't doing anything at the moment to him but his touch was making her feel like she was on fire. Her skin tingled and burned, and she felt like she was five hundred degrees. Obviously not something she would call comfortable.
Trying her best to ignore the sensation she listened to him speak, a new tone in his voice and more of a rush to his behavior. This situation definitely was starting to lean more and more to the dangerous side and Alice became more and more unsure. They had both thought they had at least most of the situation handled somehow, but Gerard's new friend had proved them completely wrong. In fact, he had proven the complete opposite. He proved that they in fact, knew nothing and had nothing controlled even slightly. And that if anything was partially controlled, it was controlled by him. Biting her bottom lip she nodded slightly turning finally onto the street off the bookstore, seeing the hotel in the distance which caused her stomach to flip, uncomfortably. Alice wasn't sure exactly of what she was doing but she figured for now she would just go along with it. Worst case scenario there were Bibles in hotel rooms, right? Well, she could probably just read something from it and maybe he would do something weird, then back off. Or if that didn't work, Alice knew bibles were pretty good for knocking people outside of the head with.
"Oh.." She muttered softly, because even though she was going to agree with stopping by the hotel, something held her back. Then suddenly the shadow that loomed over Gerard seemed to suddenly just sink in completely. Curling around her, making her shudder and feel almost sick. But the change in Gerard was so much more obvious, the malicious smirk and pulling her body close to his, which burned and stung at her skin. Looking around nervously, she just nodded simply fully aware of the fact that Gerard no longer seemed to exist anymore. "Sure...we're not in a rush, really." Alice responded as calmly as she possibly could.
Finally inside the bookstore she slipped out of Gerard's grip and automatically headed to the back aisle rummaging through the books as quickly as she possibly could. She couldn't let him see her picking up the books, if he did she was pretty sure it would be the last straw and the end of her. He would know she was trying to rid of his presence from Gerard and know the whole plan. Quickly placing as many books as she possibly could on the cluttered counter for the exhausted looking manager to check out, Alice tapped her foot anxiously, trying to make the sound as subtle as she could as to not sound rude towards the worker. Finally though her books were purchased and packaged so she could slip them into her bag. Alice prayed, ironically, that these books had the right kind of information. She had hit the right section, and picked out anything mentioning possession, exorcisms, or demons. Including what had seemed like an Encyclopedia on Demons that had weighed quite a lot. Returning back to Gerard who was looking rather irritated and impatient, Alice took in a breath for courage and opened the door for the two of them. "To the hotel?"

| Yes, finally. The hotel. Now that Belial had full control of Gerard, he, in turn, had full control of the situation. Which was the way he liked it. And as soon as they got to the hotel, he would have full control of Alice, which was going to be wonderful, Belial was planning on it. His first human sexual experience in quite a while. He was going to have a lot to release. Physically as well as mentally. As for Gerard himself, Belial had pushed him into the far recesses of his own mind. He was like a buzzing mosquito, at best, and if Belial really tried, he could completely block him out. Weak humans were always easy to push away and block out, and Belial was glad for it.
As they walked, Belial wrapped his darkness around Alice and pulled her closer to him. He could sense something within her though, a knowledge of sorts, and he didn't like it one bit. He would just have to be as charming as possible to convince her to fuck Gerard willingly...as much as Belial enjoyed forcing himself upon people, as he so often did, he knew Alice wanted it; he could see it and feel it within her, she wanted Gerard. And Gerard wanted her as well. So this wouldn't take much effort of Belial's part. And after he had fucked Alice and satiated his sexual hunger for the time being, he would find some way to kill Gerard and wreak his own controlled chaos over the world. Things seemed to be going quite smoothly thus far...except for Alice's knowledge. She was acting sketchy, and he could feel the brave face and nervousness radiate from her frame.
"Something the matter?" he purred, pulling her closer and rubbing her shoulder in a seemingly comforting manner. "You seem a little...tense." He led her towards the hotel which he knew wasn't far away, and hummed a song softly to himself. If Alice knew, it was all the same to him; he would just have to eliminate her after he fucked her, was all. No big deal. It would be a shame to eliminate her if she was a good lay, but he could always find another before killing Gerard. He was glad he had picked Gerard, too; to humans, Belial assumed Gerard was very attractive. This on top of Belial's prowess would surely make things easy for him.
Belial led Alice into the hotel, and up into Gerard's room swiftly, hoping no one decided to stop them on the way in. He slammed the door and pressed Alice up against the wall with his body. "So."

| Typically skittish, wasn't a word you'd put down in a definition of Alice's personality. Maybe something more like careless, dumb, stupid, or idiotic maybe would match, but that was more Alice's own opinion on herself. And getting herself into massive amounts of trouble yet another wonderful trait, but maybe Alice was just living up to her fairytale name sake. And she found herself just like the very lost Alice in Wonderland, and well her 'very good advice'? She definitely wasn't following it. All of these things though had resulted in Alice getting lost in some sketchy places, bothered by sketchy people, and being nearly killed. Though right now, the last was a possibility or at least that's where the now skittish part of her mind had wandered.
Suddenly through the firecracker heat that was ripping at her skin, making her uncomfortable a cold chill burned up her spine. The kind of painful cold that one would get from dry ice clawing at her skin making her cringe slightly. Trying to limit the facial reaction to her mouth only though, a slight unpleasant twinge pulling at the corners of her mouth her eyebrows furrowing maybe just the slightest. But she couldn't let whatever demon know that the pain was excruciating, she could't give him that kind of satisfaction and she couldn't let him know how much more that she knew. Though really she hardly knew much more than what he had found out but Alice would rather avoid angering him as much as possible seeing as with his particular temper; the happenings after she let Gerard know she was fully aware of what was going on giving on a small look into the demon's temper, a very small look. But as far as this painful chill, it was now spreading up and around her body like a rash almost bringing along with it an overload of the seven deadly sins; or at least that's what it seemed like to Alice. Lust, envy, wrath, gluttony, sloth, and greed wracking her at once like some disease. Lust by far being the strongest of the emotions, putting her body on a live wire.
The purr of Gerard's voice, well Alice had to call him something so for now Gerard, snapped Alice back from the deadly cloud of pain and not so pleasant emotions. Leaving her lightheaded and her knees weak, his hand on he back actually feeling comforting rather than painful the warm burn welcomed even though the emotions stayed. Shaking her head and smiling politely, Alice just allowed him to have his way because at the moment things were harmless, and by harmless it was meant more in the light of the current situation kind of harmless. "I'm fine really, just thinking is all." Alice added to her actions, adjusting the strap of her bag that had been nearly falling off her shoulder. If she lost these books, she knew she lost her closest and quickest way to information. The next being her brother, but that required a trip to the Vatican; which a trip like that at the moment was considered taboo.
Yet Alice's never ending way of loosing herself in her thoughts, proved to be somewhat deadly around someone who had gained some seriously fast reflexes. Because in the split moment that Alice heard the door bang behind them she then found their bodies pressed close, her heart pounding in her ears and eyes wide she found her limbs becoming weaker and weaker. Not to mention that with her small frame, Alice didn't stand much a chance against the clearly stronger 5`11 frame of Gerard's. Yet she still tried to push him away her palms pressing against his chest roughly. "W-What are you.." Alice paused taking a moment to compose herself and tried again. What do you think you're doing?" She managed to get out this time, as sternly as possible. But those feelings of lust from earlier; those were making her weak against the heat from his skin and Alice had a hard time coming to terms with being weak

| Obviously, Belial knew that Alice knew. Her mannerisms, her aura, her heart, let him know that she was aware. His touch caused her pain; he could see her subtle facial expressions of agony, feel it within her. He was feeding off of her pain and discomfort, which led him to want more. He also wanted to distract her from any thoughts of demons. Which meant he had to get rid of those books; he couldn't have her becoming educated on the subject of exorcisms, no matter how unlikely it was that she would be able to even begin to exorcise him. She had neither the knowledge nor the will, he was sure. On top of that, she probably wasn't very religious, if at all. He couldn't sense it within her; religious people had a different feel to them, and Alice didn't feel religious.
What she did feel, however, was weak. Belial could sense it. As he pressed her against the wall, hands on either side of her head, he stared her down with a lustful, rage-filled look. Lust and rage were an integral part of his being; the emotions ran through his blood, and now through Gerard's blood. They would, he knew, leave a permanent mark upon Gerard in the unlikely event that he survived. And Gerard was going to die. Looking down at Alice now, thinking about what he was about to do to her, sent a shiver down his spine and an inhuman growl emitted from his throat. "What am I doing? Nothing you don't want me to do, I know it. You want this, don't you?" he purred and growled in her ear, biting her earlobe and tugging gently with his teeth. Her hands on his chest, her feeble attempts to push him away, spurred him on further.
He tugged her towards the bed and pushed her down on it. "And now we're going to do what I want." At that moment, Gerard's phone vibrated in his pocket. He rolled his eyes and pinned Alice down onto the bed by her throat; not enough to hurt her, just enough to hold her down. He answered his phone irritably to hear Frank's voice on the other end. "What? I'm busy."
"Uh...hey, man, where the fuck are you? I know you wanted to be left alone earlier, but...uh. The guys and I have been looking for you, we got worried. We're going to walk around the town, you...you wanna come with?" came Frank's worried, nervous, cautious voice.
Belial rolled his eyes again and let out a sigh that turned into a growl. "No, I said I'm busy. I'll..." he trailed off. He needed to maintain some semblance of normality with Gerard's bandmates; he definitely didn't need them on his ass. He changed his tone to a more cheerful one, albeit forced. "I'll catch up with you later, okay? I'm just in the middle of something. Kind of."
"Uh...okay, man, sure. No problem, I'll talk to you later then...bye," Frank replied, sounding unsure, and hung up. Belial sighed and tossed his phone on the floor, returning to Alice at his side.
"Anyway..." he purred, straddling her and releasing her throat. "Where were we?"
